I took advantage of my last opportunity to travel before little Emily arrives during my 31st week of my pregnancy… An annual girl’s trip with 8 of my dearest friends from college. We all met our freshman year and have remained as close as can be over the past (almost) 10 years. Everyone continues to pursue eachother and make these relationships a priority despite distance, weddings, kiddos, jobs, and the craziness of life. I value these friendships so much and am so blessed each time we’re all together again.

This year we went to Sandy, Utah and stayed at Kelly Taylor’s house. She was able to sleep all of us in her beautiful home. And her husband and little boy got the boot for our 3 day stay. Some people skied, others of us stayed in our pjs all day and watched Felicity. We got massages and had our nails done. We played lots of Nertz. But most importantly we shared our hearts with eachother, we prayed together, and we celebrated the special gift that these friendships have been all these years.

Kelly had a great idea for us to get professional pictures taken because, as she put it, “we’re not getting any prettier”. We laughed through most of it as the photographer tried to accomplish a “Sex in the City shot” as he called it. We like to think that it’s our own personal jean ad. Too funny, but such a great memory.

Love you girls!
