We met in high school. I was a freshman cheerleader and Eric was a sophomore soccer player. We found common ground in our love for the Lord, and serious attraction. We started dating after a few months and continued all through high school and college.

Eric went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and I went to Azusa Pacific University. 4 years of long distance mixed with traveling abroad in the summers, family vacations, mission trips…but fortunately we made it through those difficult times and married in January of 2003.

Now living in Ladera Ranch, in Southern California. I work as a creative director for Simply Youth Ministry, and Eric works as an account manager for Blanchard and Johnson (a family business). We go to Rock Harbor church and enjoy time with our friends & family, watching The Office, a good game of Sequence, and as of recently playing Dr. Mario on Eric’s “new” Original Nintendo ES.

Our goals for the first 5 years of our marriage were to buy a house (check), take a trip to Europe (check, 21 days-amazing), and start a family. Coming on our 5th year we have approached our final goal. We’ll have a little one to join our family in March of 2008. Blessings abound.
