We met in high school. I was a freshman cheerleader and Eric was a sophomore soccer player. We found common ground in our love for the Lord, and serious attraction. We started dating after a few months and continued all through high school and college.

Eric went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and I went to Azusa Pacific University. 4 years of long distance mixed with traveling abroad in the summers, family vacations, mission trips…but fortunately we made it through those difficult times and married in January of 2003.

Our goals for the first 5 years of our marriage were to buy a house (check, a little town home in Ladera Ranch), take a trip to Europe (check, 21 days-amazing), and start a family. Two months after celebrating our 5th anniversary we approached our final goal and welcomed our daughter, Emily Noelle, into our family. And two days after celebrating our 7th anniversary we added our son, Evan William, to make us a family of four. They have filled our lives with abounding joy. We give thanks to the Lord for his provision and blessings that we have witnessed these past several years.
